On Thursday, February fifth, I visited the Max L. Gatov Gallery West. In this gallery there was an exhibition of two artists but only Yirch Elaine Kwak was there. Consequently I was a part of the group interview of Ms. Kwak. Most of her pieces are landscapes with some, as they appeared to me, were abstract interpretations of landscapes.
During the interview I found out that Kwak is influenced most by nature. This is because Kwak lives on a house that is on a hill and surrounded by nature so naturally she cannot help being inspired by nature.
